Efektivitas Pembelajaran Al-Mahfuzat dalam Meningkatkan Pemahaman Nilai-Nilai Kehidupan dan Keterampilan Bahasa Arab Santri di Madrasah

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of Al-Mahfuzat learning in improving students’ understanding of life values and Arabic language skills at Bismar Al-Mustaqim Islamic Boarding School. The research problem lies in students’ low understanding of Arabic grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation in Al-Mahfuzat learning. This study employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) based on the Kemmis and McTaggart model conducted in two cycles through the stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were students of Madrasah Diniyah at Bismar Al-Mustaqim Islamic Boarding School. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and evaluation of students’ learning outcomes. The findings showed that the implementation of participatory and interactive learning strategies increased students’ engagement, motivation, self-confidence, and understanding of moral values and Arabic language skills. In addition, students demonstrated better participation during classroom discussions and learning activities. Although students still experienced difficulties in grammar and vocabulary mastery, contextual learning helped them understand the moral messages contained in Al-Mahfuzat more effectively. This study concludes that Al-Mahfuzat learning is effective in strengthening character education and supporting students’ Arabic language development, although continuous improvement in teaching strategies and vocabulary reinforcement remains necessary.
